Getting there:
The Block Island Ferry

Point Judith Port

304 Great Island Road,

Narragansett, RI 02882

Reservations can be made on the website or over the phone at 401-783-7996. If you're taking your car to the island, you must book the traditional ferry (1 hour travel time). We recommend booking far in advance, as car reservations are limited.

We recommend the hi-speed ferry (30 minutes travel time) if you're prone to getting seasick! There are also ports in Newport and New London.

Ferry schedules for 2027 will open later this fall.

Where to Stay

A discounted room block is available for our guests at the Spring House Hotel when booked by March 31, 2027. Exploring Block Island

We hope you have the best time while you're here! These are our recommendations for getting around the island and what to do while you're here.

Taxi Services

Taxis are the best way to get around, as there are no Ubers or Lyfts on the island. You'll find a taxi stand steps off the ferry when you first arrive. We recommend saving a few of these numbers in your phone to call while you're on the island:

Rondo's Taxi: 401-466-5550

Mig's Rig Taxi: 401-480-0493

Ace Taxi: 401-585=6750

Digger's Cab: 401-792-1700

Exploring

There's so much natural beauty on Block Island, and it's a small enough island to see it all in one day. These are some of our favorite stops and ways to get there:

Mopeds + Bike Rentals

Aldo's Mopeds

Island Moped & Bikes

Mohegan Bluffs

One of Block Island’s most iconic sights! The Bluffs sit 200 feet above the Atlantic with breathtaking views, plus 141 steps leading down to the beach below.

Southeast Light House

A historic lighthouse next to the Bluffs access. While you’re there, stop by the Southeast Light Delights food truck for amazing lobster rolls and quick bites!

Mansion Beach

Our favorite beach on the Block! Located at the northern end of Crescent Beach, Mansion Beach tends to stay quieter and less crowded than the beaches closer to town.
