Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests included on your invitation. If you’ve been given a plus-one, it will be noted on your invitation!

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding, and we hope you can enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

We’d love to see our friends and family dressed in formal attire! Ladies, please keep in mind that our ceremony will take place on grass, while the rest of the evening will be on a patio or indoors. We also recommend bringing a pair of comfortable shoes, as Block Island is very walkable (taxis are also readily available when you need them!).

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Accepted Answer

We recommend staying at the Spring House Hotel, but please keep in mind that the Spring House requires a two night minimum stay. There are a variety of wonderful accommodations on Block Island, from historic inns to waterfront resorts. We recommend booking your accommodations as early as possible, as summer weekends fill quickly. Some additional accommodations are The National Hotel, Block Island Beach House, The Atlantic, and 1661 Resort. See our Travel & Stay page for more info!
